No. Rate-limited at 6 alerts per day by default. Quiet hours default to 11pm–8am. Per-follow channel toggles (SMS / push / email / digest-only). One bad day and you can throttle the noise to zero.
That’s what the verification button is for. If the drop is fake, fans tap False alarm and the SMS chain stops, usually within 30 seconds of the first report.
